It could be just posturing, but listening to Shapiro on the radio yesterday I wouldn't expect too much more to happen. He talked about not doing too much in one off season because you're more likely to make a mistake and ruin your long term flexibility.
He also mentioned a couple times how amazng next years free agency class is.
I could see them still adding a SP on a one year deal, but I don't think one year show me contracts are that appealing to pitchers when they're coming from an AL east team that isn't the Yankees.
