I don't get the skepticism, it's only 6 games in. It's not like it's the same basic team that hasn't produced when it matters for the past few years. Not only did they add a legit starting goalie and a solid defender, they've added guys like Simon, Leivo, Nesterov and Nordstrom! I mean that has to solve all their problems right there won't it? Not only have they added players of that caliber, guys like Gio, Backlund, Ryan and Lucic are all a year older and have another year of growth under their belt.

All they really need to do is trade a couple of draft picks and prospects for a little more help in a position they're deep at like LW or maybe 5-6 defenders.

You just have to change some names around and you can say this almost every year!
