5 minutes a week seems way off. That's nearly a minute a day. A brand new automatic watch shouldn't be more than a few seconds +/- a day. You should go get it looked at and see if they can get it adjusted or if they will swap you for a new one. |
The bezel isn't that satisfying to spin TBH. It takes more force than I would have expected to spin, but the upshot is it is always centered and my coat/gloves/whatever don't spin it accidentally. No basis for comparison on how a better watch would spin because I've never spun one.
I'm going to set my watch perfectly right now, then make a calendar reminder in one week to see how far off the time is. If it's bad, I'll swap it out. Thanks for letting me know five minutes is too much...wasn't sure if that was acceptable or not.
