Right, but that should have no effect on whether or not a shot is clean. I don't look at this any differently than when a goalie is beaten by a quick shot on a great cross-seam pass, or on a rebound. Laine took a shot that Markstrom was not set for—but the fact it was also a shot that no goalie would be set for does not somehow render it not "clean."
