Firstly, get a mesh system and bridge the router. Don’t mess with repeaters or cables.
Second, taottronics makes routers now. Wow. They make everything. That said I am a bit nervous about Chinese made electronics that see all you home traffic.
Look at a google nest wifi, or eero, or netgear orbi they are more pricey but it will perform well and will be safer from a security perspective
