Oil use is what needs to be curbed, the US has convinced everyone that production from everywhere but the US is what needs to be curbed and it was brilliant and successful. There's a reason the democrats approved 10X Keystone XL pipelines in the US last time they held up the approval and knocked it down for the US audience, and started dominating the North American Oil market.

Even CaliFlamesFan and New Era admitted to that late last year when this topic came up (CaliFlamesfan being outspoken against Alberta Oil previously). Be in favour of changing the environment for sure, but don't be naive to what this is.

Oil use reduction is what we need, the US will fill any and all voids they can create through misinformation and war, which doesn't do anything for the environment.
