If anything, I think the divide that Trump started is going to widen. Healing and bringing things together again is going to be the work of decades.
I'll be watching with some interest. Will Biden finally do something about Gun Control? Or will he leave that as a hot potato. Will Biden have the guts to go against US industry and oil in a major way, or will he look at the economic numbers and donor dollars.
There might be a short term bump in terms of rejuvenation, but America as a whole, is a split and angry country, and a mine field.

Yeah, a lot of people are going to expect instant results without realizing how much Trump set things back. It's the instant gratification generation after all.
I don't think Biden takes on any really controversial issues in the first term. That will come in the second term when re-election isn't an issue. The assumption is that he is going to be one-and-done given his age, so the goal will be to set up the next person running (likely Harris). His administration will be walking on eggshells the whole time I think.
