Probably already discussed, but it was reported that his legal team advised him not to pardon family members for anything because you can still be held accountable in a civil court even if you are pardoned, and that pardoning them would just make them appear guilty. So unless they were already convicted of something, you could be hurting more than helping if you issue a pardon.
