Anyone suggesting five assets for one is not thinking straight. PLD is a "potential" player, not proven, no guarantees. Plus he comes with a hefty salary demand. You're not getting a young cost controlled player here, you're getting a player that is demanding huge dollars without the body of work to support it. Very risky. At most I would be willing to throw Monahan and Bennett at the Jackets. Maybe Bennett plus one of our recent firsts and a future pick. Maybe Backlund and a first. Beyond that, no deal. Five players? Laughable.
