I think it's reasonable to assume that while Torts isn't the GM he will have some input on the players who the Blue Jackets would acquire. I also assume they would want a player would could deal with Torts positively. I can see them interested in Bennett as part of a deal....I also wonder if during Tort's stints with the US National teams that he ever crossed paths with Gaudreau? I honestly don't know but I do wonder.
