Outside of this five day break, if PLD has to sit for 14 days then he will miss at least 6 games and could be up to 8. Could be sitting outside of the playoffs by the end of that run and if PLD doesn't come out ready right away then it could get even worse.

Imagine losing any of our top centers and a winger for 6-8 games. I think we'd see a losing streak during that period and one that could sink the season.

I thought the YYC pilot was if you didn't have significant contact or travel? Seeing as there is so much travel in the compressed schedule I think the pilot program is a non-starter.
