If we're looking at a "hockey trade" of impact player for impact player, the 2 weeks of lost time is just too steep of a price. The only break we really have in the schedule happens after tonight's game. So I'd really say if it doesn't happen tonight or tomorrow, there will be no in-season "hockey trade".

I was going to suggest something like that. If you don't give up a key piece of your roster to acquire a top player then you can afford to wait a little bit for him to get out of quarantine. However, that new player better be a guaranteed top center who will improve the team to the upper echelon because it is going to cost a lot in picks to make this work. Is Dubois that player? Is Columbus looking for future or immediate replacement? As much as I'd like to see it, this type of trade just doesn't make sense to me this year.
