I don’t see how it is an organizational strength when our top Dman is 37 and another top 4 is 31. We do not have a stud prospect at the position other than Valimaki.
The dream package in my opinion would be Monahan+3rd rounder. Flames keep their top picks and swap their top center for a younger one. I get your rationale about keeping Monahan but I don’t know if that is necessary if we get PLD. Lindholm wants to be center and has looked good doing it.
