For sure, and that's the UFA market.
I liken it to the Michael Frolik contract. It was a year to long ... maybe $500k too high but he was money well spent for three plus seasons.

Tanev is older so there's that ... but hopefully as you say he's a solid top four for two years, a decent 5 for one year, and a 6 in the final year
