I was thinking about 13 and 23 being buried in O zone starts
Some people have suggested the Flames try Sedin level O zone starts for 13 and 23.
But the Sedins were very different players. They weren’t particularly speedy, but they were very good at cycling. Also seemed to have a 6th sense knowing where each other were, and lots of little tips. The board game and cycle was a large part of what they did well.
13 and 23 are often dangerous on the rush. The o zone starts don’t lend themselves as much to their particular strengths.
I don’t mind them having zone starts spread out. I do hope we continue to see the D activated. Dating back to Hartley, and during Peters first half season, this team has done best when they have a quick transition and active D
