At some point you need to give them a shot too. He was pretty much a PPG in the AHL last year.
To me if you can do that in your first year or two in the AHL you deserve a look at the NHL.
I wish they would have left one spot open for either him or Gawdin instead of signing all three of Leivo, Simon, or Nordstrom
At some point you need to graduate a player to continue to develop them or else they will stagnate in the AHL.
