After watching the fuss over the magnetometers, while recognizing that we are not perfect in Canada, can I just say how grateful I am that some of our biggest dustups in the HoC have been things like Fartgate or BC Reform MP Darrel Stinson , back in '97, calling Ontario Liberal MP John Cannis an SOB after Cannis heckled him with "racist", and storming over to the Lib side, ready to throw hands?
The Stinson dustup is the one that amuses me most, as the Speaker just very calmly stands there, and almost lazily says, in a monotonous tone, "Order. Order."
Fartgate (not my name for it) is a very close second. Lard tunderin' Jesus.
