The immediate response when these things happen is to think, "what, no other team could do better than that? I can think of five teams off the top of my head that could have used his services at 4.5, at least, and have him play with players who will help him put up more points than anyone the Blues have."
But on the other hand, he's going to be relied on as the guy to put pucks in the net for them and will get a lot of opportunity to do so, so I guess that's the plan here.
