Issue is, I don't see a spot on the roster for an unproven player this season, playing important minutes in the minors with our other skilled prospects would be the best option but if claiming him means he needs to go on the taxi squad, hopefully the coaches would be willing to give him some after practice one-on-one training to focus on his foot speed. I know, I know but talent runs in the family, he's a big body, still young and has pretty good hands so i feel it's worth a shot.
Isn't that the guy Ovechkin killed in a fight?
