Educate me here CP. Would there be any value to all politicians from all parties not being on social media? Or is it that valuable of a communication tool?

I am not just talking about campaigning, I am talking about day to day.

Just a question.

Or do I just need to get with the times, even though I don’t want to? Am I really missing out?

At the root, it's about the political figure being able to instantly reach out to their supporters, free of any editorial comment or editing. This has been happening since FDR in one form or another, Nixon did it a ton via TV. The thing is with social media is that now you don't have to be a president to do it, your local rep at any level of government can do it.
