Well, if we use that logic, then it could be said that there's no way Alexis Lafrenniere will put up 80pts. Or any other young player. PLD was drafted 3rd overall, and was talked about as being an 80-90pt player, so he has as much a chance as anyone. He already put up 64pts the year before last.
And that was my point-how much is Mony really worth? At 26, is he considered one of the top-20 best Centers in the league? Is he as valuable playing away from Johnny? Would our team be better if we had a prototypical play-driving, fast first line C?
