In a day of misinformation, I really encourage doing it on your own. being shown math that you already have a predisposition towards, makes you much more likely to just find something obscure to discredit it. However, if you do the research on your own, learn how to do some math that isn't overly difficult, and look at your own results, I think it has a much more empowering effect.
