At some point you have to realize how dramatically far right we've already drifted and stop the bleeding. Republicans have shown that they have zero desire to actually govern, only retain power, they refuse to compromise or work within the rules, why the hell should Democrats have to be the ones constantly giving in and screwing over the American people in the process?
At some point one of the adults in the room needs to stand up and refuse to work with people who flat out will not do their jobs.

Expanding the supreme court and giving DC and PR state status seem like no brainers at this point for the Dems... if they are in any way shape or form serious about protecting the country from a future of ReTrumpican fascism. Of course, they won't do it though.
Which makes you wonder whose interests they are really serving...
There is a window of opportunity here, and if it passes, who is to say there will ever be another one?
