Yeah, I have no respect for anyone who stayed in Trump's cabinet after everything that's happened over the last four years, but resigning in protest
now is actually the worst thing they could do. If there are any remaining secretaries who are willing to put country over party, the best thing they can do for America is to not resign and instead invoke the 25th.
Or maybe that was already tried but it was clear they didn't have a majority so Chao is resigning now? (Edit: also posted by t99 above)
