Certainly a spin. They aren’t in the whitehouse, and it’s written to imply that he is cheering it on while it happens. But that’s not what’s happening in the clip. It’s unnecessary fuel for the other side of the table.

“In any case”.. then things we all already know. He even realizes he spun it. Same with the “they’ve breached the capital again!” Cops letting them through a barricade video that keeps getting shared with the last second clipped out, showing hundreds of people already on that side. The commentary was meant to stir #### up, and spin what we were watching.
