When 74 million people vote for Trump, there are surely some Trumpets, but really simply a lot of lifelong Republicans in that number. A lot of whom are probably alarmed by today. Even Loeffler changed her mind somewhat
It bothers me that it is represented as nearly half of the country who are Trump supporters, because there are a lot of those people who realize Trump is not good, but have been indoctrinated to think that the Democrat boogey man is so awful that they can plug their nose and vote for Trump
That country is pretty ####ed up. All the hard work has paid off .
But if the outcome of the Capitol storming is that they see the uprising is ineffective (yeah, they got inside and successfully ... umm... put their feet up on Pelosi’s desk... also stole a podium?), then what do the Trump supporters actually have to look forward to?
We will see, I would be curious to see if we see action on amendment 25 soon. If they leave him in place, he could still try to impose martial law.
