The second group is not a viable NHL team. The Flames need to get the NHL team together and get ready for the regular season. 7 more training camp days and a travel day.
Keeping the AHL guys in the mix makes no sense. The Flames should have a 26 man go to war group focused on getting out of the gate as best as possible.
