One could argue that the collapse after passing the ACA was pretty significant.. maybe not as drastic because Obama won a 2nd term but Dems did lose the Senate and the House and a LOT of state governments went red.. and while Trump was a 1 term wonder and the Senate flipped back, the Senate will (hopefully) be 50/50, and they lost seats in the House, and almost none of the recovery started in 2018 in state level governments continued, and many lost ground.
One can of course argue about the impact of gerrymandering and suppression of voting and such.
And throw in losing the Supreme Court for a generation...
It's nice that Trump is gone but really Dems are still pretty far behind.
