Those of you who were able to buy early, yay! everyone else now gets to pay extra due to china/us trade war. Most of the major component distributors are based in the US, and basically no computer components company really does direct trade with Canada as we are too small.
For a 1K$ build right now I would go with Intel as they are more available.

1660 Super is a 5% slower 1660 Ti for 60$ cheaper. If it can be found.
1080p and 1440p gaming, not recommend for 4k60 unless doing the custom settings dance and turning stuff down. Some games will still need lower settings.
