Definitely have to echo the 8:30 PM Wednesday in January Wild and Predator games! Big miss.
In general, just the opportunity to watch the best players in the world face their Flames counterparts. Preferably live at the 'Dome though that won't happen, in both warmup and isolating my viewing to just focusing on them for entire shifts at a time in admiration of their attention to detail and as part of an indefinite education on what sets them apart.
Some I have come to love watching and studying that immediately come to mind (no order):
Sidney Crosby's all-around game, and especially backhand and balance.
Alex Ovechkin's snap shot and one-timer.
Jeff Skinner's agility and edgework.
Brayden Point's work rate.
Patrice Bergeron's toughness anticipation.
Mark Stone's stick work and positioning.
Ryan O'Reilly's forechecking and angling.
Victor Hedman's movement relative to size.
Nathan MacKinnon's explosiveness.
Roman Josi's escapability.
Jacoob Slavin's gap control.
Shea Theodore's outlet passing.
Patrick Kane's hands and ability to manipulate defenders' feet.
Cale Makar's lateral mobility and reactive countering.
Matthew Barzal's top-gear speed.
Nikita Kucherov's creativity.
Hopefully the TV networks will experiment a bit this season and try going with a camera angle that has both blue lines in view at all times, at minimum, allowing for superior viewing.
