Came across this post on reddit that details how the events of WW84 completely destroy the Batman universe if taken at face value (WW84 spoilers)
Spoiler!
Wait... 1984...
Internet Sluthing suggests that Bruce Wayne was born in 1972 in the DCEU. His parents died when he was between 8 and 12. That puts his parents' death at around 1984 on the outside.
If after July 4th was when the World got Wish-Mania, then most of the year has passed.
Meaning it is extremely likely that Bruce's parents are dead by the time the Magic Make-A-Wish fiasco started.
Bruce Wayne was fundamentally broken by his parents' death. There is no way he would not have wished for their return. Or Alfred would have made that wish instead. And not being Batman yet, Bruce would never have unwished that.
If we just barely missed the window of opportunity to wish the parents back to life (that is, they died just after the wish-a-thon), Bruce would be extremely aware of that missed chance and would likely be absolutely obsessed over the mystical arts. Obsession is sort of his jam.
Which means WW84 would fundamentally break the Batman story line.
Also means that there is no way in hell Batman (if he somehow arose from this mess) would not have researched the #### out of the 1984 magic wish nonsense and couldn't help but find out about WW.
