Yep and would have ended up with a decent return and probably better 1st round pic. Not like we got past the first round with this group

That would never happen, and his rights obviously didn't hold much value prior to hitting free agency. The trade for Kadri the summer before would have been nice, but that's on Kadri for blocking it.
