I could be way off but here is how I value it.

For PLD I would trade either one of Monahan+ or Gaudreau+ in order to land him (with the + being significant)

For Barzal I would be willing to send a package of Monahan AND Gaudreau with the Flames taking back additional salary

I view PLD as a future potential number 1 center and Barzal as a potential Franchise center.
