This whole argument seems silly to me. Nothing about Travis Hamonic in his career suggests a selfish player or person. The guy has character oozing out of every pore.
The game speed changed in the last three to four years, and it caught up with him, but the guy isn't any less of a human being.

Maybe Hamonic is a good guy. Good guys can still make terrible decisions.
I'm not passing judgement on his character as a whole. I'm only looking at this one decision. And I don't think we can revert to saying "he wasn't comfortable" with Covid. It's a cop out given how much we knew about covid at the time, the extent to which our economy was open and the decisions made by all the other NHL personnel to play in the bubble.
