Plus, those would have all been shorter contracts on younger players.
It hurts now, but it'll hurt even more in 2 or 3 years. Especially with the flat cap.

Other value signings don't make him old or slow. Does it change the view on dollars? Sure, but that is true for every signing prior to the bottom falling out of the market. But you're just trying to bolster your (weak) argument with non-facts here.
