I get the fact that they are one of the best programs in the country. They are for sure one of the top 4 teams in college football. However, their conference changed the rules at the end of the season to allow the B10 and OSU a chance to get in the playoffs. It's unfair and stinks.
I am an Oklahoma fan. I don't think Oklahoma should have been in the CFP. Lord knows everyone is tired of seeing them get in and quickly exiting. This isn't an opinion because I dislike Ohio State or because I feel my team was jilted. It's an opinion that it shouldn't have happened because it was unfair to the rest of the teams in NCAAF.
Maybe even with 5 games played they still get the benefit of the doubt and get in. However, their only wins over ranked opponents were a TD win over Indiana (who is getting beat by an unranked 5 loss SEC team right now) and a win over 5 loss Penn State team. Based on that eye test there were far more deserving teams with better bodies of work.
Again, I think they are one of the best teams. I'm not railing against them, they did what they had to do. I am venting about the unfairness of the process.
