The one thing we've seen from Pettesson that we never saw from the Sedin's is that he will throw back. Is Petey ever going to be a rough and tumble guy? No. But he throws the odd hit, he really likes the "reverse hit" and the biggest thing that separates him from the Sedins is
he will punch you back. Does he have a lot of punching power? Nah, probably not. But he isn't afraid to get into the muck. He isn't afraid to get into the muck and the thing that I loved is that he didn't wilt when he went in there. Despite getting tossed around a bit in his first year and a bit, despite a couple janky things happening to him, he still drives towards the middle and fights down low and along the boards.
I know it's early, but he really is the single most talented
player forward the Canucks have had since Bure and I can talk about him all day in any thread, I don't care what your topic is. And like Bure, yeah you want to protect him, but ####ed if he won't have a go at you too if he feels slighted. As dirty, and dangerous as it was, the mother of all elbows is hard to forget.
