I read the first post and wonder what Sliver feels about things like folding laundry, making the bed, or shaving.

Totally agree on household repairs because of the use of lousy materials. Beyond the nuisance of having to fix things, trying to find a match for those materials. MDF trim to which you can’t find a piece with matching profile. People don’t come in my house and remark on my trim being unique or unusual. It looks pretty normal. But I’ll be damned if I can find a match to it anywhere. Fireplace tile. One tile is broken so this becomes a full new project

I guess I would be sick of hearing about and having to dignify the views of people who have embraced bad information. The fact that you have a critical mass of things like anti maskers and anti vaxxers during a pandemic is exasperating. It is not practical or constructive to summarily dismiss people as idiots in real life.
