I don't know about reviews but the visual effects were far and away the worst part of Aquaman, and it was an absolutely horrible movie. I look forwards to the Namor the Submariner eventually coming out, so that we can see real underwater VFX, from a quality production company.
Luckily I decided about 5 movies ago, that I don't pay extra for DCEU content, I'll catch this in a year on Netflix.
