I think for some players who have a great tourney it is likely a positive.

Some kids, who go there and get bumped down the line up, and don’t play well, it can be a confidence blow.

I’d imagine most canadian boys want to play in it because of the hype it gets in Canada. Also, it is one of the harder teams to make when you consider the number of eligible players and the small window of opportunity to play before you age out.
