I've said that I've loved the Fiend buildup. Bray Wyatt is an incredibly creative guy, he's on the bleeding edge in terms of character creation and execution and he's a good worker because he's got a style that works.

I loved that they put Alexa Bliss with him, she's just stellar, she's all in on everything she's done, and on a side note when you see her talking out of character with fans and kids she's just a great person.

So I get a little pissed off that at every ppv in a major match the Fiend is putting everyone over. Orton doesn't need wins at these points. But a bi-polar monster needs big wins once in a while to establish that he's a killer. Once again The Fiend loses a match that he pretty much had to win. I mean its somewhat great that the Fiend was dominant, but who cares.

On top of that Alexa Bliss has been nowhere to be seen for nearly a month.

Now I know that Vince blew a fracking gasket this week because of the historically low Raw numbers. We saw that panic with Charlotte Flair coming back and getting the tag team titles effectively killing the Jax Baszler tag team.

Over all, I expect a major reset of Raw tomorrow night in terms of storylines. Maybe we see the return of preacher Bray Wyatt or they put him on the shelf for a while.

Wyatt himself posted after his match. He put up a picture of a cocoon with the words Thank You and a red circle. It feels like they're taking one of their hottest characters and putting it away.

The rest of the PPV

McIntyre defeats Styles

Actually a good opening match. Lots of physical stuff and big impacts. Miz came in and cashed in his money in the bank contract to join the match, which makes no god damned sense at all. But again, reset.

***.5/5

Sasha Banks defeats Carmella

I have to give credit, I wasn't all that hot on this match because Carmella has never been a great worker. But she really bought it tonight, and her and Banks had a good nasty match. However I have two complaints. Carmella hits four of her superkick finishers, and locks her in a submission and can't beat banks. Its the same pet peeve that I have with AEW where they try to elevate one wrestler at the cost of an other. Carmella's finishers have been devalued. The other pet peeve and Sasha does this all the time. When you win after your opponent beats the hell out of you, don't just pop up like it was nothing. Sasha does this all the time, and again it makes the beating that you took look meaningless.

**.5/5

The Hurt Business defeats the New Day to win the tag belts.

I liked this match because it was 4 really good workers in the ring and this match was smooth and well thought out. The Hurt Business needed this win and got it.

***/5

Charlotte and Asuka beat Jax and Baszler

First of all, the woman's division has become a mess on both brands which is a shame because there is some serious talent to play with. Not to be mean but Jax is becoming bigger and less mobile in the ring and Baszler does the heavy lifting. At the same time WWE goes out of the way to protect Jax by making Baszler the in team jobber. I've never been a fan of Charlotte, she's a good worker and all that, but she's boring to me. This was a Raw level match, not a match on a PPV like TLC. It was fine, nothing more.

Reigns beats Owens.

This was a great match from a worker point of view, though it was overbooked all to hell and became a 2 on 1 match with Uso doing a lot of work. People forget how good of a big card worker that Owens is, and Reigns has modified his style using Heel 101. Too much interference by Uso. But a really good TLC match.

Wyatt vs Orton in a inferno match.

Wrestling needs to get passed these type of movie of the week matches. Yeah it took place in a ring but it was cinematic with the exploding flames, and the obvious body sway when they burned Wyatt. That's right WWE crossed into Impact territory as Orton flat out murdered the Fiend tonight. Orton is so naturally good at being a wrestler that it looks like he's not trying, but he's probably the best pure worker in the company. Wyatt is just really good as the Fiend. Too bad the WWE keeps executing him. No Bliss and the Fiend is flat out dead. Who cares. Two ratings

***.5/5 for the match
-*******************/5 for booking. (minus rating)

Summery - Not a good enough PPV for what is their major extreme showcase. The booking was poor to me, though the workers worked their butts off. Its clear a reset is coming thus what I think is a panic return by Flair, the loss of the New Day, Wyatt going into a cocoon. As much as we blame Vince, Pritchard is running things and HHH has been doing backstage booking for a while. I tend to think that the participants in this thread would be a better booking committee.
