I’m not a fan of the end of the police response but we don’t see their response to bylaw or when the officers first show up or why 39/40 people complied. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect ocean to behave like the other 97.5% of the people.
The Covid stats you are referencing are grossly misleading and used to down play the severity of Covid. They arent using mortality rate they are % of world population who have died so far, the vast majority of whom are not yet infected.
.03% is not the mortality rate. .25% -1% is the mortality rate.
.03% is the number that has died so far. Ie 1.7 million / 7.5 billion people
If you look at New York City .25% of the population has died of Covid and the disease is still spreading with no herd immunity yet.
