Well it’s up to Kylington to prove he belongs full time play with the flames. Kylington and Anderson were drafted in the same year , same round , 10 spots from each other. They have both been given the same chance up to this point . One has flourished with his chance and the other has been adequate on some games and less then stellar in others. With the way Rafa and waivers are set up you have to prove yourself in that time frame to the original club that drafted you. This happens with all teams. It’s not just a Flames thing ,when they put young players on waivers. Plus I’m not 100 percent he would get claimed anyway. The 6th spot is ripe for the taking. If he can’t even get the 7th spot on the flames , why would other clubs be picking him up on waivers?
