I assume you meant clear waivers...which is true but I dont think anyone would necessarily claim him right now simply because of the circumstances this season, at least early on.
He would need to stay on an NHL roster for 30 days if claimed and im not sure many teams are going to want to do that ahead of what they go into the season with. He is still an unknown quantity and not sure a lot of clubs want to play him above their own guys necessarily. And with a shortened season and every point that much more crucial, other clubs will go with what they know over what might be.
Injuries and illnesses can change all that very quickly though, granted.
