Filipino food is interesting to say the least. I know it is getting a lot of hype in the food community last few years, but I personally don't get it. Adobo chicken just doesn't get me excited. I grew up going to the occasional Filipino BBQ and while I respect the culture of family, I didn't find much food all that appealing. Blood meat anyone?
Goes back to the post above that culture has a large part in the craving. I totally get that part, but unlike Japanese or Thai or even Korean it is a difficult cuisine to get into if not accustomed.

Well Korea doesn't even have any Jolibee's, so I wouldn't think they'd care about it. I could have been more specific I guess, Filipinos and Vietnamese seem to love the place for some reason. I was mistaken on the Thai's though, they don't have any there (yet)
