I don’t think Backing would be selected. I doubt Seattle would want to allocate that much cap to an older player with years remaining on a somewhat high cap hit. They will probably have better, cheaper options. Maybe. If I’m Tre I would take that risk... it would hurt to lose him for nothing though.
