A single series going beyond four games doesn't affect the number of nationally televised games. But seems like going from 82 games to 56 or 52 would.
And it wouldn't just be the impact to nationally televised games, would it?
I thought it was established that the biggest economic reason for the playoff bubble was to fulfill programming requirements for the TV contracts.
