Good Religion:

A worldview that speaks to greater truths that are not easily articulated through simple
Observation of the material world. It provides structure and meaning and a common, communal frame of reference.

The fundamental idea of Christianity, the idea that you must first allow yourself to die to transcend your suffering, endures because it’s true. Because there’s no nobler act than self sacrifice.

Bad religion:

God as a wish granting Genie who exists to justify your appalling, selfish behaviour. Or win a football game. Or whatever.

I don’t know what God is, but it’s not that.
