^ No trading from a position of strength makes sense and while Hopkins is a special player making a wideout the highest paid non QB in the league was not a good idea. Texans record is about the same with him on the team I’ll bet.
Acquiring Tunsil, trading Clowney and Hopkins all could have worked. It’s what they gave up for Tunsil, and getting nothing for Clowney and Hopkins that killed the team.
Trading Hopkins wasn’t about cleaning up other moves. Not that I can see. It was a bad football trade.
