Zary with 2 assists in the second period. Both secondary but the first one he was still a key to the play because he took the defenseman with him which opened up a scoring chance for Tomasino.
The other thing I am noticing about Zary is that he reads the play very well. 3 shifts in a row, he read the breakout and disrupted the rim by beating Red to where the puck was going. First one he took posession and theybgot some zone time, second one they had to rush the play and white took it in the neutral zone off a wonky pass, and the third one white had to turn the puck back and restart with red set up in their forecheck. It's really encouraging to watch him form chemistry with top players like Dach and Tomasino, but he's not a passenger.
Red was pretty badly outplayed in that period, so not as much to say about Pelletier. Hopefully he has a strong third.
